Medicare provider services;
Counselling services; and
Coaching services .
We provide counselling services for (amongst other things):
mental health, such as depression, anxiety and schizophrenia;
pregnancy support;
drug and alcohol addiction;
career counselling;
change and transition issues;
grief and loss;
pain management;
relationship counselling;
self esteem issues;
stress management;
weight management;
work-related issues; and
general counselling.
Peninsula Psychological Centre is a Medicare provider for individuals who seek support for:
Mental health issues, such as depression, anxiety and schizophrenia; and Pregnancy support counselling, to assist women who are concerned about a pregnancy.
We offer coaching services, including sessions that aim to assist:
Individuals to define and set goals;
Develop action plans;
Offer support to maintain motivation; and
Develop strategies to overcome obstacles to reach these goals.
Coaching is not therapy. It is most suitable to individuals who do not have major psychological issues to address, in which case counselling would be more appropriate.
